01How route pricing works

Distance, aircraft, positioning.

Charter cost is driven by flight time (great-circle distance ÷ cruise speed, plus taxi and reserves), the aircraft class, positioning legs and handling at each end. Midsize jets (Hawker 900XP) start around $12k/hr, heavy jets (Challenger 604, Legacy 600) around $17–22k/hr, and the Gulfstream G550 around $26k/hr. Your broker itemises all of it before you commit — request any route above for a confirmed quote, usually within hours.
